MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541133323 A) filed by Christ University, Bengaluru, Karnataka, on Dec. 30, 2025, for 'xploreml(explorable ml) with xai (explainable ai)-an interactive visual learning system for ml.'
Inventor(s) include Syed Sajjad Askari; Saleema J S; and Lakshmi Sankaran.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 27, under issue no. 09/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Machine learning for teaching learning processes consists of preparing a specification, design, plan, learning objectives, session plan etc., and working implementation of models in education, research and development. Such realtime discussions may not allow faster trained datasets, outputs for easy understanding by learners. AI usage in such scenarios was imputed as a detailed explanation for concepts clarity. Recently ML exploration happens 'without explanation. Although it can be achieved by explaining the process of machines' learning process itself to a human learner without need of much documentation or help. An apparatus and. method for enabling non-technical users to Jearn, explore, and experiment with machine learning models through a click based graphical user interface is disclosed. The system comprises a visual workflow builder that allows users to construct pipelines using click-based components, wherein each component represents a stage in the machine learning process. Starting with intuitive features like data upload, exploration, advanced preprocessing, model selection, real time training, evaluation and ending with explainability of the features."
