MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514024166 A) filed by Tmt Machinery, Inc., Osaka, Japan, on March 18, for 'yarn winder.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Yarns having been threaded to distribution guides are accurately and easily are accurately and easily threaded to 5 bobbins. A yarn winder 5 includes: bobbin holder 13 to which bobbins B are attached; fulcrum guides 15; a contact roller 17 which is provided above the bobbin holder 13 and below the fulcrum guides 15; a yarn catching unit 40; and a yarn threading unit 45. The yarn catching unit 40 includes yarn 10 catching portions 41. The yarn threading unit 45 has yarn holding portions 51 aligned in the front-rear direction, and is configured to receive, by the yarn holding portions 51, the yarns Y caught by the yarn catching unit 40, and to guide the yarns Y to positions where the yarns Y are threaded 15 to the respective bobbins B. The yarn catching unit 40 is arranged to catch the yarns Y at positions that are closer to the fulcrum guides 15 than the contact roller 17 in the up-down direction. Furthermore, the yarn catching unit 40 is arranged to be movable to the handover position where the 20 caught yarns Y are handed over to the yarn holding portions 51."
