Abstract: ABSTRACT A BATTERY CELL COMPRESSION ASSEMBLY The present disclosure envisages a battery cell compression assembly (100) for a battery cell module (106) configured to be nested in a battery pack frame. The pack frame includes a plurality of baffles (108) spaced apart from each other to receive the battery cell modules (106) therein. The compression assembly (100) comprises a compressible pad (102) and plate (104). The compressible pad (102) is disposed on at least one side wall of a cell module (106). The compressible pad (102) is configured to accommodate the expansion of the cell modules (106). The plate (104) is attached to the operative free surface of the compressible pad (102). The plate (104) is configured to facilitate uniform distribution of the expansive forces exerted on the pack frame.
