The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a binary-weighted load emulator system (100) and method for industrial load emulation for testing electric motors using binary- weighted control. The binary-weighted load emulator system (100) includes a test machine (102) mechanically coupled to a load machine (104), wherein the load machine (104) is electrically connected to plurality of resistive load elements (106). The resistive load elements (106) are selectively engaged through plurality of electromagnetic switches (112) controlled by a microcontroller (114). The binary-weighted load emulator system (100) operates in an open-loop configuration without feedback control and enables emulation of steady, dynamic, and cyclic load conditions. The binary-weighted load emulator system (100) provides a cost-effective, modular, and scalable solution for industrial motor testing without the use of power-electronic converters.
