Abstract: Abstract A Bio-Mechatronic Orthotic Device with Virtual Intelligence The present invention discloses a bio-mechatronic orthotic device with virtual intelligence, which is designed and developed to improve the walking efficiency of the person with a disability and to prevent further lower limb deformities due to motor disorders. The invented KAFO will measure the variations in the range of motion of the knee and ankle joints in the affected limb and improve the gait and posture after gait training using the device and also manipulate the gait training accordingly to achieve the normal gait. The orthotic device with virtual intelligence aims to improve precise and regulated movement for better motor rehabilitation.
