The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: A BIODEGRADABLE PRESSURE RELEASE DEVICE FOR EXOTHERMIC REACTION APPARATUS, AN APPARATUS AND METHOD THEREOF A biodegradable pressure-release device (100) for regulating gaseous by-products generated in an exothermic reaction apparatus (300). The device comprises a shaft (105) formed from an algae-sheet composite, a pressure weight (102) seated on an inlet port (103a) that lifts at a calibrated threshold (1.2–1.5 bar), one or more valve passages terminating in a outlet (103b) providing a visible vapour indication, and porous spikes (104) arranged about the shaft to admit gaseous by-products. The spikes include perforations and internal cavities containing hygroscopic absorbent granules that condense vapour and buffer pressure rise prior to venting. The device provides self-regulated venting, visible indication of reaction completion, and biodegradability suitable for single-use enteral-feeding or medical exothermic systems. Also claimed are an apparatus incorporating the device and a method of regulating pressure and signalling reaction completion using the device. [
