Abstract: The present invention relates to a biofeedback-based EMG rehabilitation system and method. This is a portable, standalone, and affordable EMG-based rehabilitation tool, specifically designed for hand muscle recovery. The present invention focuses on converting raw EMG into a simple, intuitive feedback metric for the patient, without relying on other complex modalities. The device comprises EMG sensors (1) Consists of Surface Electrodes to record myoelectric signals and a Sensor to translate the myoelectric signal into data. EMG sensor module (2) amplifies and filter signals receive, microcontroller (3) processes data from Sensor and calculates relative muscle effort based on a baseline. OLED display (4) digitally visualizes muscle effort as a percentage bar graph or numerical value. Jumper wires, breadboard are used to make connections and battery supplies power.
