The system includes a processing module (104) for deriving coagulation-related parameter data, a wireless communication module (105) for transmitting the data to an external device, and a power management module (106) for supplying regulated power to the system. The method (200) includes positioning the skin-interfaced sensing module (101) on skin, powering the modules, electrochemically interrogating interstitial fluid, acquiring and processing signals, and wirelessly transmitting coagulation-related parameter data.
