Abstract: The present invention relates to a blockchain-based medicine supply chain verification system. The system comprises a smart contract deployed on a decentralized blockchain network, a role-based access control module assigning roles including Manufacturer, Distributor, Wholesaler, Retailer, and Regulator, and a participant registry for managing authorized addresses, wherein a batch creation module records medicine batch details and generates a deterministic batch identifier using cryptographic hashing of predefined parameters, a transfer recording module maintains an append-only history including sender, receiver, timestamp, and optional data, a verification module provides batch existence, composite validity based on recall status, counterfeit flag, and expiry, and current holder, a recall control module enables a regulator to assign an irreversible recall status preventing further transfers, and a counterfeit flagging mechanism permits any address to report suspected counterfeit batches with associated reasons, thereby ensuring secure, transparent, and tamper-evident traceability across the supply chain.
