Abstract: A BLOCKCHAIN-SUPPORTED FEDERATED LEARNING NETWORK SYSTEM FOR INTER-HOSPITAL AI PROGNOSTICS AND DIAGNOSTICS The present invention discloses a Blockchain-Supported Federated Learning Network System for inter-hospital AI prognostics and diagnostics. The system enables multiple hospitals, laboratories, and wearable IoT health devices to collaboratively train high-performance AI models without exchanging raw patient data, thereby ensuring privacy preservation and regulatory compliance. Blockchain technology provides immutable audit trails, participant validation, and transparent contribution monitoring, while quantum-resilient encryption secures model parameters during transfer against interception or poisoning attacks. An edge–fog–cloud hybrid architecture supports scalable, real-time processing of health data, with only encrypted model updates transmitted to a central aggregator. A consensus-based model validation mechanism authenticates and verifies contributed models prior to integration, preventing bias and enhancing generalizability. The system is interoperable with heterogeneous electronic health record formats and compliant with HIPAA and GDPR requirements. This invention offers a secure, auditable, and scalable framework for cross-institutional AI collaboration, enabling accurate diagnostics, predictive analytics, and personalized treatment planning across global healthcare networks.
