The cap (300) includes a body (301) defined with a provision (302) configured to receive and cover a portion of a receptacle (2). Further, the cap (300) includes a heating element (303) disposed along a surface of the provision (302) to engage with the portion of the receptacle (2). The heating element (303) is configured to selectively heat the receptacle (2) corresponding to the cap (300) being positioned on the receptacle (2). The cap (300) mitigates formation of ice/frost in the portion of the receptacle (2). Figure 3 is a representative figure.
