MUMBAI, India, Oct. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611103463 A) filed by Suresh Gyan Vihar University on August 27, 2026, for A Capillary Drug Diffusion Testing Device For Formulation Permeability Analysis.
Inventors include Dr. Sarmad Moin; and Dr. Ritu Gilhotra.
The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a capillary drug diffusion testing device comprising a donor assembly, donor chamber, diffusion membrane, capillary diffusion assembly, receptor assembly, receptor chamber, sampling port, and supporting housing. The capillary assembly provides a controlled diffusion pathway for drug transport through the membrane toward receptor medium. The device enables small-volume formulation permeability testing, controlled sampling, temperature regulation, and comparative determination of diffusion, flux, cumulative permeation, and permeability characteristics.
