The material exhibits high adsorption efficiency for methylene blue, governed by chemisorption mechanisms and supported by adsorption isotherm models. The hydrogel demonstrates excellent swelling behavior, thermal stability, and pH responsiveness. This invention provides a sustainable, low-cost, and eco- friendly solution for wastewater treatment while simultaneously utilizing agricultural waste, contributing to environmental protection and circular economy practices.
