The microwave-assisted process enables rapid and controlled formation of the catalyst composition, thereby providing a simple and potentially scalable approach for catalyst production. The disclosed catalyst and process offer potential application in sustainable nitrate valorization and decentralized or industrially relevant ammonia production.
