MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611003781 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Technology Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi on January 14, 2026, for A Composite Material And A Method Of Preparation Thereof.
Inventors include Nand Kishore Prasad; Subham Kumar Shaw; N. S. Anuraag; and Chinmaya Mohapatra.
The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.
Abstract: The present invention provides a stable composite material and a method of preparation of the same. The composite material exhibits improved magnetization and photothermal effect where the composite material attains the therapeutic window at a faster rate upon increasing the laser power. In addition, the composite material is fabricated into an electrode that exhibits improved oxygen evolution reaction (OER) due to efficient charge transfer resistance, thus exhibiting electrocatalytic activity. The present invention therefore provides a cost-effective composite material for photothermal and electrochemical applications.
