Abstract: The present invention relates to a benzothiazinone-based heterocyclic derivative composition comprising benzothiazinone-based heterocyclic derivatives, a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, and optional formulation additives. The benzothiazinone-based heterocyclic derivatives are generated through heterocyclic modification of a benzothiazinone scaffold to produce structurally diverse derivatives including benzothiazinone–isoxazole and benzothiazinone–oxadiazole compounds. The heterocyclic modifications alter the structural and electronic characteristics of the benzothiazinone framework, thereby enhancing interaction with biological targets associated with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The composition is configured to exhibit antimycobacterial activity while maintaining compatibility with biological systems. The invention further provides a method for preparing the composition by synthesizing the benzothiazinone-based heterocyclic derivatives, combining the derivatives with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, incorporating formulation additives, and forming a stable formulation through controlled mixing. The resulting composition provides a formulation framework for benzothiazinone-based heterocyclic derivatives suitable for antimicrobial applications and further pharmaceutical development. FIG.1
