Abstract: ABSTRACT “A CONNECTOR FOR AN URETEROSCOPE” 5 A ureteroscope (101) for RIRS is disclosed. The ureteroscope (101) includes a connector (103), a scope straightener sheath (102) and an elongated flexible member (2). The connector is coupled to an inlet port (3) of the ureteroscope (101) and the elongated flexible member (2) is connected to a reusable portion (10) of the ureteroscope (101) and is inserted into the scope straightener sheath (102. Further, the connector (103) includes a conduit (104) with a first port (111), a second port 10 (112) and an elongated flow passage (110), such that the first port (111) and the second port (112) are configured to simultaneously perform irrigation and suction of working fluid upon the vacuum generation device activation, respectively. The uretero scope (101) of the present disclosure reduces the time taken for treating the subject and also maintain consistent inter renal pressure without causing any complications to the subject during the RIRS procedure.
