MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611117145 A) filed by Chitkara University on September 30, 2026, for A Context-Aware Adaptive System And Method For Secure Sharing Of Electronic Health Record Data With Selective Verification.
Inventors include Dr. Rajesh Kumar Kaushal; Atul Kumar; and Dr. Bhisham Sharma.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: A context-aware adaptive system (100) for secure sharing of electronic health record data is disclosed. A data generation unit (110) generates encrypted medical record data, stored across distributed nodes (122) of a decentralized storage layer (120). A context evaluation engine (130) computes an access decision from a user role, request purpose and urgency parameter using rule-based logic. A session-based authorization module (140) issues a cryptographically signed, time-bound token that automatically expires. A selective verification module (150) retrieves and decrypts only the subset of data fields needed, generating a cryptographic verification proof without exposing the remaining record, reducing transmitted data volume. A controlled access delivery module (160) transmits the subset to the requesting device (102), and an audit and monitoring module (170) generates hash-linked, tamper-evident log entries for each transaction, together achieving privacy-preserving, bandwidth-efficient, fault-tolerant access control.
