MUMBAI, India, Oct. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611102826 A) filed by Sanidhya Sihag on August 26, 2026, for A Continuous Dual Pressure Cycle For Dehumidification And Cooling In Air Conditioner.
Inventor includes Sanidhya.
The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.
Abstract: The technology of our air conditioning system controls humidity and cooling in two different phases. For dehumidification phase, evaporator pressure is reduced by electronic expansion valve and fan speed is also reduced to achieve the temperature of coil which is below the dew point and above the freezing point. This reduces the humidity of the space, and after reaching the desired humidity level, dehumidification phase is out and cooling phase is started. For cooling phase, evaporator pressure is increased and fan speed is also increased. Here temperature of evaporator coil is very high, that is near to the 20 degrees Celsius. Due to the high evaporator pressure (suction pressure), power is saved. In cooling phase temperature of the room is reducing but humidity remains constant or increasing. Due to this, after a certain period of time, humidity reached above the desired limit, then dehumidification phase is started , which lower the humidity. Then after cooling phase started. Hence the cycle continues the dehumidification and cooling phase. This provides a better energy efficiency. And Here wecontrol desired humidity level and temperature.
