MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611024430 A) filed by Rahul on March 02, 2026, for A Continuous-Flow Integrated Transport System For Passenger And Cargo Movement.
Inventor includes Rahul.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: The present invention provides a continuous-flow integrated transport system for passengers and cargo. It features lightweight coaches moving independently or connecting to form a moving train (5) on a main track (6). Each coach includes main wheels (1), buffers (2), and track-switching mechanisms like movable supporting wheels (13) or top-mounted retractable hooks (15). At a junction (9), a selected coach diverts to a station (4) via supporting tracks (7) without stopping the remaining train. Diversion is achieved through different embodiments including same-level downward supporting wheels, downward diversion between main tracks, upward diversion on elevated tracks, extracting supporting wheels from within main wheels, or lifting the coach using an external bogie (16). A new coach joins the train on- the-fly by speed-matching. The system ensures continuous, energy-efficient, and door-to-door transit.
