Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an electrical appliance (100). The electrical appliance (100) includes a base (102) and a jar assembly (110). The base (102) includes a motor (104) and an adapter (106) rotatably coupled to the motor (104). The jar assembly (110) includes a body (108), a handle (112), and a sensing unit (120). The body (108) includes an internal volume and a rotational member is placed at the bottom of the body (108) and adapted to rotate upon actuation by the adaptor (106). The handle (112) includes an actuator (114) adapted to slide relative to the body (108) between an activated state and a non-activated state and a switch (116) adapted to slide the actuator (114). The sensing unit (120) is adapted to sense the arrival of the actuator (114) to the activated state and actuate the motor (104) based on the sensing.
