Inventors include Ambala Sukanya; and Dr Sudha Rani V.
The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT Disclosed herein is a crop disease detection system (100) that comprises a a Crop Imaging Unit (102), a Sensor Unit (104), a Communication Interface (106), an Edge Computing Unit (108), a Processing Unit (110), a Memory Unit (130), an Output Unit (132), a User Interface (134), a Cloud Platform (136), and a Power Management Unit (138), Processing Unit (110) comprises a Data Acquisition Module (112), a Pre-processing Module (114), a Data Processing Module (116), an Analysis Module (118), a Prediction Module (120), an Optimization Module (122), a Decision Module (124), a Resource Management Module (126), and a Communication Management Module (128). The system acquires crop images and environmental data, processes and analyses the acquired data, determines at least one crop disease, optimizes execution on the Edge Computing Unit (108), generates and communicates disease prediction results, and stores and synchronizes operational data, thereby enabling accurate, low-latency, and energy-efficient crop disease detection.
