Abstract: The present invention relates to a cross-domain media recommendation system that establishes semantic association between heterogeneous media domains through engineered mood-based features. The system comprises music datasets containing numerical audio attributes and textual content datasets containing user-generated descriptors, genres, and metadata. A feature engineering module generates a unified mood vocabulary that translates numerical audio parameters and textual descriptors into harmonized mood tags. The harmonized data representations are transformed into vector representations using TF-IDF vectorization, followed by cosine similarity analysis to generate similarity scores between media items. The system enables cross-domain recommendations comprising song-to-book and book-to-song recommendations through a unified semantic framework. Further, the invention supports compressed deployment architectures, serialized reusable model structures, and real-time recommendation generation through a web-based user interface.
