Abstract: The present invention relates to a cyber-physical smart grid load balancing system and method for enabling real-time, adaptive management of electrical load across a distributed power network. The system comprises IoT-enabled energy nodes configured to monitor electrical parameters, an edge computing module for preprocessing and anomaly detection, a predictive analytics engine utilizing machine learning models to forecast load demand, and a dynamic energy management controller configured to actuate physical grid components. The controller dynamically redistributes electrical load by controlling distributed energy resources and storage systems in a closed-loop architecture. The integration of sensing, computation, and actuation enables improved grid stability, reduced transmission losses, and enhanced energy utilization efficiency. The invention provides a scalable and resilient smart grid framework capable of real-time predictive load balancing and adaptive energy management.
