MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531001831 A) filed by Cybercorp Limited on January 08, 2025, for A Cybersecurity System And Method For Real-Time Data Breach Detection And Automated Response.
Inventors include Sourabh Khemani; Anil Kaushik; Sandeep Gandhi; and Sreeram Bulusu.
The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.
Abstract: The present subject matter relates to a cybersecurity system (100) and method (200) for real-time data breach detection and automated response. The system (100) comprises a breach detection module (101), an automated response module (102), a data sanitization engine (103), an analytics dashboard (104), and an integration layer (105). The breach detection module (101) continuously monitors user behavior, data access patterns, and network activity in real time using machine learning and anomaly detection techniques to identify unauthorized access or malicious activity. Upon detection of a data breach, the automated response module (102) automatically generates and executes response commands. The data sanitization engine (103) receives the response commands and performs secure data sanitization operations on data stored in one or more storage devices to render compromised data irretrievable. The analytics dashboard (104) provides real-time visualization of security metrics, configuration of response protocols, and audit trails. The integration layer (105) interfaces with external security systems, including SIEM systems, firewalls, and EDR tools. The system (100) is deployable in cloud-based, on-premises, or hybrid computing environments.
