Abstract: HerNour is a cycle-synced wellness platform developed to support women in managing their menstrual health through personalized nutrition, fitness, and wellness recommendations. Many women experience physical and emotional changes throughout different phases of the menstrual cycle, yet existing health applications often provide generalized guidance that does not consider hormonal fluctuations. HerNour addresses this challenge by delivering phase- specific recommendations based on the user’s menstrual cycle, health profile, and daily wellness data. The system is developed using the Flask web framework with SQLite as the database and integrates modern frontend technologies such as Tailwind CSS, Alpine.js, Chart.js, and Full Calendar. Users can securely create accounts, log menstrual cycle information, record daily wellness check-ins, and monitor their health trends through an intuitive dashboard. The platform automatically identifies the user’s current cycle phase— Menstrual, Follicular, Ovulation, or Luteal—and provides personalized meal plans, nutrient recommendations, hydration guidance, and fitness activities tailored to each phase. HerNour includes several key modules such as cycle tracking, nutrition planning, fitness management, healthanalytics, calendar visualization, profile management, and PDF-based health report generation. The analytics component evaluates user wellness through parameters including mood, energy level, sleep quality, hydration, and symptom frequency, generating meaningful insights and wellness scores. Interactive charts and calendars help users better understand patterns in their menstrual health and lifestyle habits. The platform also promotes healthy habits through workout streak tracking, achievement badges, and cycle-aware fitness recommendations. By combining menstrual tracking with personalized wellness support, HerNour empowers women to make informed health decisions and maintain a balanced lifestyle. The system demonstrates how technology can be effectively utilized to improve women’s health awareness, encourage preventive self-care, and provide a comprehensive digital wellness experience. HerNour serves as an innovative solution that bridges the gap between menstrual health tracking and personalized lifestyle management, contributing to improved overall well-being and health monitoring.
