MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611062233 A) filed by Collegedunia Web Private Limited on May 16, 2026, for A Data-Structure Driven Computer System And Method For Technical Enterprise Workflow Orchestration Using Dynamic Hierarchical Routing, Expiry-Aware Entitlement Allocation And Event-Based State Synchronisation.

Inventor includes Sahil Chalana.

The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: A networked computer system and method for enterprise workflow orchestration are disclosed. The system stores organisational nodes as a nested-set tree and resolves approval routes at runtime by comparing tree-boundary values with a permission matrix. A transaction state-machine engine records approve, reject, refer-back, and resubmission transitions as append-only records with reviewer comments and revision links. For entitlement requests, an allocation engine partitions requested temporal quantities across ordered entitlement buckets, including ordinary leave, carry-forward, expiry-validated compensatory-off, and loss-of-pay fallback. Compensatory-off source records are consumed in first-in-first-out order only when unexpired, and each consumed source record stores a structured mapping between deduction identifiers and amounts used. A department working-day engine applies configurable work-week patterns using week-of-month classification. A domain event bus dispatches typed events to independent subscribers for notifications, audit, synchronisation, and downstream processing. A polymorphic history store records audit data for heterogeneous transaction objects using a common schema.
