The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: A DEVICE AND CONTROLLER TO TRIGGER GEARSHIFTS IN A TWO-WHEELER VEHICLE AND A METHOD THEREOF ABSTRACT The two-wheeler vehicle 100 comprises a manual transmission 116, one end of which is coupled to an engine 120 through a clutch 118, and other end is coupled to a driven wheel. The manual transmission 116 comprises a shift actuator 114 to perform gearshifts upon actuation, characterized in that, the device 130 comprises a switch unit 102 mountable on a handlebar of the two-wheeler vehicle 100. The controller 110 connected to the shift actuator 114 and the switch unit 102, the controller 110 configured to receive the shift signal 104 from the switch unit 102. The controller 110 performs, after receipt of the shift signal 104, torque modulation of engine 120 using at least one selected from a group comprising a throttle control, an ignition control, and an injection control. The controller 110 then triggers operation of the shift actuator 114 and perform gearshift after completion of the torque modulation.
