Abstract: ABSTRACT A DEVICE AND METHOD FOR STRUCTURAL HEALTH MONITORING OF A BRIDGE The present disclosure relates to a device and method for structural health monitoring of a bridge. The device (100) comprises a vibration sensor (102) configured to generate structural vibration data, an inertial sensing unit (104) configured to detect dynamic load events, a temperature sensor (106) configured to generate temperature data, and a positioning module (108) configured to generate time-synchronized event data. A processing unit (110) is operatively coupled to the vibration sensor (102), the inertial sensing unit (104), the temperature sensor (106), and the positioning module (108). The processing unit (110) is configured to extract modal characteristics from the structural vibration data, compensate the modal characteristics using the temperature data, identify and remove vibration components corresponding to the dynamic load events using the inertial sensing unit (104) and the time-synchronized event data to obtain a corrected structural response, and determine a structural integrity condition of the bridge.
