The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for analysing osteocalcin in a sample and a method thereof. The device comprises a housing enclosing a test strip with a sample application region and viewing window. The method comprises receiving the sample, mixing it with a first monoclonal antibody specific for osteocalcin conjugated to an optically detectable label and a second monoclonal antibody specific for osteocalcin conjugated to a tag to form a sandwich immunocomplex, and applying the mixture to a test strip comprising a membrane with at least one test line having a first binding partner for the tag and at least one control line having a second binding partner for a control conjugate. The immunocomplex is captured at the test line and the control conjugate at the control line to generate respective optically detectable signals, which are processed to indicate osteocalcin presence and/or concentration.
