Abstract: The invention relates to a device (100) for detecting loosening of a fastening element (200) in a wheel (300). The device (100) includes a first housing (101a), a second housing (101d), a first extension (101b) and a second extension (101e). The first housing (101a) and the second housing (101d) are configured to be mounted on the fastening elements (200). A sensor (104), coupled to the first extension (101b) and the second extension (101e) through a coupler (105), detects torsional forces caused by displacement of the first extension (101b) and/or second extension (101e) due to rotation or loosening of the fastening element (200). The control unit (107), communicatively coupled with the sensor (104), compares the torsional force with the first pre-determined thresholds torsional force, and activates an indication unit (109) for an alert. The device (100) integrates with vehicle safety systems to initiate protective measures, enhancing operational safety and reliability. Figure 2 is the reference figure.
