Abstract: Abstract A Device for Opening a Vehicle Door The present invention provides a device (10) for opening a vehicle door. The device (10) comprises a handle (2) pivotally connectable to a casing (5) of the vehicle door, the handle (2) is rotatable from a rest position (2A) to a first angular position (2B) and a second angular position (2C). A first lever (2-1) and a second lever (2-2) connected to the handle (2), such that, the first lever (2-1) abut with an electric switch (20) when the handle (2) is rotated from the rest position (2A) to the first angular position (2B) to electrically unlock the vehicle door. The second lever (2-2) is adapted to operate a cable (C) when the handle (2) rotates to the second angular position (2C) to mechanically unlock the vehicle door. The second lever (2-2) is spaced apart from the cable (C) when the handle (2) is in the rest position (2A).
