Abstract: A DIGITAL TWIN-BASED ADAPTIVE SOIL ORGANIC CARBON SAMPLING OPTIMIZATION SYSTEM A cloud-based Soil Organic Carbon (SOC) sampling optimization system and method are disclosed for adaptive SOC sampling using real-time soil sensing, weather-based environmental analysis and digital twin simulation. The system comprises an environment and soil monitoring module (201) configured to collect soil and environmental data including soil moisture, soil temperature, pH and weather-related information, a sampling terminal or edge device (202), a communication module (203), and a cloud processing platform (204). The cloud processing platform includes a data storage and processing module (205), a digital twin module (206), an SOC estimation module (207), a sampling strategy module (208), and a simulation and evaluation module (209). Based on SOC estimation, sampling consistency and SOC error evaluation, optimized sampling plans are generated through decision output (210) for field sampling execution module (211). The associated method includes collecting soil and weather data (101–102), digital twin generation (105), SOC estimation (106), sampling strategy generation (107), virtual sampling simulation (108), SOC error evaluation (109), and adaptive sampling optimization (110–112). The invention improves SOC estimation reliability, reduces unnecessary soil sampling and minimizes sampling cost.
