Abstract: A dose indicator and counter device for metered dose dispensers [0077] The present invention discloses a dose indicator and counter device (100) for a metered dose dispenser, comprising a base (101), a center gear (102), an intermediate gear (103), an indication wheel (105), a push button (106), and a spring (104). The base includes an integrally molded or formed cantilever flexible flap (111) and roller projection to cooperate with the center gear extended leg (123) to return the center gear to an initial/rest position after actuation, and an anti-reverse pawl (117) to prevent reverse rotation of the intermediate gear. The push button comprises push button gear cams (134) to engage a corresponding gear cam (120) on the center gear, converting axial movement into rotational movement, thereby incrementally advancing the intermediate gear, periodically driving the indication wheel to update a remaining dose display.
