The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: A dual-action variable geometry measuring cup comprises a rigid outer chassis, a continuous flexible food-grade silicone liner, a rotatable base dial, a threaded spindle, an internal threaded plate, an internal plunger, and guided outer wall segments. Rotation of the base dial converts rotary input into axial movement of the internal plunger. The axial movement cooperates with angled guide paths of the outer wall segments to produce corresponding radial movement, thereby changing the depth and diameter of the liner simultaneously. The continuous liner contains the measured material while separating the food-contact chamber from the principal mechanical adjustment elements. Coordinated axial compression and radial expansion or contraction change the available measuring volume and modify the accessibility of the upper opening at different settings. A pouring spout is associated with the upper rim. The illustrated arrangement permits adjustment between approximately 50 millilitres and 500 millilitres, including intermediate settings.
