Abstract: A dual closed loop cooling system (200) for a battery (202) in an electric vehicle (204), includes an electric vehicle charger (206) electrically connected to the electric vehicle (204) through a charging connector (208). The electric vehicle (204) is configured with a first closed loop coolant flow path (210) and a second closed loop coolant flow path (212). A first coolant flows from the electric vehicle charger (206) to a heat exchange unit (214) through a first rotatory coupling unit (216-1). A rotation motion of the first rotatory coupling unit (216-1) enables rotation motion in the second rotatory coupling unit (216-2). The rotation of second rotatory coupling unit (216-2) facilitates a second coolant to flow from the battery (202) of the electric vehicle (204) to the heat exchange unit (214). The dual closed loop cooling system (200) eliminates use of additional components, thereby reducing costs and complexity.
