The electric motor includes a stator core (102) comprising fiftyfour slots, a bottom winding layer (104), a top winding layer (106) and an insulation material (108) for isolating said top winding layer (106) and said bottom winding layer (104) from stator core. Further, the bottom winding layer (104) is contained within at least 10 a first subset of said slots, and the top winding layer (106) is contained within at least a second subset of said slots. The bottom winding layer (104) further comprises a first set of A-phase coil group, a first set of B-phase coil group and a first set of C-phase coil.
