Abstract: The present invention relates to a dust shield (130) for a brake assembly (100) of a vehicle. The dust shield (130) includes a main body (132) and one or more dampeners (134). The main body (132) being configured to be coupled to a structural member of the vehicle. The main body (132) extends radially over at least a portion of a brake disc (110) of the brake assembly (100) to cover said portion of the brake disc (110). The main body (132) is having a plurality of embossed portions (136) and a plurality of non-embossed portions. The one or more dampeners (134) disposed on the main body (132) and adjacent to at least one of the plurality of embossed portions (136) to reduce vibrations of the dust shield (130) during braking of the vehicle.
