MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511003420 A) filed by University Of Lucknow on January 15, 2025, for A Feed Formulation For Ornamental Fishes And Its Method Of Preparation.
Inventors include Dr. Manoj Kumar; and Dr. Vidyanand Tiwari.
The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to the feed formulation for ornamental fishes and its method of preparation. This is, nutritive, efficient, feed formulation capable of reducing the stress, inflammation, and microbial infection in ornamental fishes. The feed formulation comprises of Solanum nigrum, Tinospora cordifolia and Asparagus officinalis. The formulated feed is rich in nutrients as well as in phytochemicals, this feed not only helps in growth of fish but also strengthen the metabolic and biochemical health. Most of the feed is consumed by the fishes while it is floating, resulting in less residue.
