Abstract: A formulation of green synthesized zinc nano particles comprises 80 – 95 % by weight zinc nanoparticles and 5 – 20 % by weight organic capping agents derived from Moringa oleifera leaf extract. Further, a process for preparing green synthesized zinc nano particles comprising taking fresh Moringa oleifera leaves and washing the same; drying the washed leaves and grinding the same to obtain a fine powder; taking 5 – 20 % w/v fine powder with water and heating the same at 45-55 °C for 15-25 minutes; cooling the heated solution and filtering the same to obtain organic capping agents derived from Moringa oleifera leaf extract; capping 5 – 20 % by weight organic capping agents derived from Moringa oleifera leaf extract onto 80 – 95 % by weight zinc nanoparticles synergistically to obtain green synthesized zinc nanoparticles.[Fig.3]
