Abstract: ABSTRACT A FRAME ASSEMBLY FOR A SADDLE-TYPE VEHICLE The present invention relates to a frame assembly (100) for a vehicle and having a first portion (100a) and a second portion (100b). The first portion (100a) has a step-through portion (P) defining a floor-board area with a distance (L1). The second portion (100b) supports a seat assembly positioned rearward of the step-through portion (P) and is configured to receive a support member (120) for supporting a storage box (150) or a battery box (160). The support member (120) is positioned within a zone (A) defined by a second vertical axis (B-B`) and a third vertical axis (C-C`) spaced apart with a distance (L3) and the distance between the first vertical axis (A-A`) and the third vertical axis (C-C`) is (L2) which is greater than the distance (L1) and the distance (L3).
