Abstract: Abstract A framework for detecting a fault in an object of interest and the method thereof. A framework 10 for detecting a fault in an object of interest 12. The framework 10 comprises a control unit 14, multiple data sources 16, an intelligence model 18, atleast one image capturing unit 20, an image processing unit 22. The control unit 14 configured to acquire data related to the object of interest 12 through atleast one image capturing unit 20 and through multiple data sources and pre- process the acquire data for maintaining consistency and alignment using the image processing unit 22. The control unit 14 constructs a three-dimensional model related to the object of interest 12 from the pre-processed data and by using a feature extraction technique. The control unit 14 then enhances the constructed three-dimensional model by a point-feature alignment technique and the faults/defects are detected by comparing the enhanced three-dimensional model with a pre-stored model.
