Abstract: A fuel system (100) for an engine, and a method of regulating fuel pressure in the fuel system (100), are disclosed. The fuel system (100) comprises a fluid tank (102), a feed pump (104) configured to pump fuel into a supply line (108), a main fuel line (110) configured to supply fuel to unit pumps (112), and a dosing unit line (116) fluidly connected to the supply line (108) upstream of the unit pumps (112) and to a dosing unit (118). A primary pressure regulating valve (120) is configured to maintain a first pressure (P1) corresponding to an operating pressure requirement of the unit pumps (112). A secondary pressure regulating valve (122) is configured to maintain the dosing unit line (116) at a combined pressure equal to the sum of the first pressure (P1) and a second pressure (P2), corresponding to an operating pressure requirement of the dosing unit (118).
