Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a generator (100) of a wind turbine (200). The generator (100) includes a rotor housing (6) having a plurality of metallic plates (63), a first set of actuators (71) configured to displace at least one of the plurality of metallic plates (63) from the rotor housing (6) and a second set of actuators (72) configured to displace the output shaft (4) relative to the rotor housing (6). The control unit (9) is configured to determine magnetic flux based on comparison of at least one operating parameter with a threshold value and selectively actuate the first set of actuators (71) and the second set of actuators (72). With such configuration, the generator (100) may automatically regulate magnetic flux based on operating parameters of the wind turbine (200) and efficiency of the power generation from the wind turbines (200) may be enhanced.
