Abstract: The present invention relates to a helmet system (100) for safety and navigation assistance for visually impaired users. The helmet system (100) includes a helmet body (10), a sensor module (20), a microcontroller unit (30), a feedback module (40), a heart rate sensor module (50), a wireless communication module (60), and a rechargeable power supply unit (70). The sensor module (20) detects obstacles around the user. The microcontroller unit (30) received and processes obstacle detection data and controls the feedback module (40) to generate audio alerts, or haptic alerts. The heart rate sensor module (50) measures pulse rate of the user. The microcontroller unit (30) actuates the feedback module (40) and the wireless communication module (60) to provide warning output and transmit alerts and notifications when an abnormal heart rate condition is detected. The rechargeable power supply unit (70) powers the helmet system (100).
