Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for synthesizing nanocomposite-based heat transfer fluids (HTFs) and composition thereof. The method includes synthesizing copper-based nanocomposites, n-CuT1 and n-CuT2 to obtain a first mixture. The method further includes preparing a heterocyclic heat transfer fluid by combining a 1:1 molar ratio of imidazole and 1,2,4-triazole, grinding the first mixture manually for a first predefined time period, transferring the solid to a beaker, covering it, and allowing it to sit for a second predefined time period at ambient conditions, thereby obtaining a heterocyclic solution. The method further includes dissolving 0.01% of the synthesized nanocomposites into 1% of the heterocyclic solution, stirring the mixture for a third predefined time period to obtain a homogenous, blue-colored nanofluid with varying intensities.
