MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641065809 A) filed by Sensorsync Innovation Private Limited on May 25, 2026, for A Hierarchical Sensor-Gated Vision System With Conditional Ai-Based Verification For Energy- Efficient Surveillance.

Inventors include Hrishikesh Venkataraman; and P. Sree Harshitha.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: 7. ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a hierarchical sensor-gated vision system comprising a first sensing unit (1), a controller (2), a second sensing unit (3) separate from the first sensing unit (1), a decision-processing section (4), an imaging module (5), a verification-processing module (6), and a storage module (8). The controller (2) selectively activates the second sensing unit (3) for a bounded validation interval upon receipt of a trigger signal. Validation data is processed relative to at least one stored validation criterion, and the imaging module (5) is activated through a separately controlled path upon generation of a qualifying validation state. A power-management circuit provides separately controllable power paths for the second sensing unit (3) and the imaging module (5). Captured data is selectively coupled to the verification-processing module (6) for subsequent verification, and stage-associated event information is retained in the storage module (8), thereby providing hierarchical progression through sensing, validation, image-acquisition, and verification stages.
