Abstract: A HIGH-PRESSURE LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY METHOD FOR THE DETECTION OF PANTOPRAZOLE SODIUM AND CINITAPRIDE HYDROGEN TARTRATE BLENDED COMBINED PELLETS DOSAGE FORM The present invention relates to a novel and efficient reverse-phase high-pressure liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) method for the detection and quantification of Pantoprazole sodium and Cinitapride hydrogen tartrate in blended pellet dosage forms. Each 270 mg pellet contains 40 mg of Pantoprazole sodium and 3 mg of Cinitapride hydrogen tartrate. The method employs a mobile phase comprising acetonitrile and phosphate buffer (pH 7.4) in a 40:60 ratio, a stainless-steel column packed with octadecylsilane-bonded silica (5 µm), and chromatographic conditions including a wavelength of 280 nm, a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min, and an injection volume of 20 µL. This procedure includes preparation of stock and test solutions for both active ingredients and ensures accurate, reliable, and reproducible results for routine quality control of these multicomponent pharmaceutical formulations. The method is cost-effective, time-efficient, and adheres to pharmaceutical standards, making it suitable for routine analytical applications in the pharmaceutical industry.
