Abstract: The present invention discloses a horn system (102) for a vehicle (100) and a method thereof, comprising a vision unit (104) to capture images, and a sensor unit (106) to capture distance data. A Electronic Control Unit (108) is used to: analyze the image to detect at least one object, assign at least one category to the detected object, analyze the distance data to determine at least one distance to the detected object, assign at least one class to the distance and determine at least one attribute for a horn output, based on at least one of the category of the detected object and the class of the distance to the object. Further, the horn unit (110) is used to generate at least one horn output based on the determined at least one attribute.
