The room air first passes through a protective filter and a sub-dew-point wetted pad for initial pre-cooling and condensation. The air then continues across a secondary cooling coil 30 for further cooling and dehumidification before being discharged back into the room by the blower 50. Any condensed moisture from both stages drops into a bottom collection tray to drain straight back into the thermal storage tank 10.
